I was not a big Jim McKenna fan, until yesterday.
Jim’s presentation of PMA’s position and explanation was very impressive. The straight forward honest explanation was delivered in a sincere manor and very persuasive. Thank you for your restraint and professionalism.
Big Bob’s response is exactly the opposite. If the ILWU would keep quiet, no one would know how delusional they are.
No one wants to see your pictures of the docks, or your feeble attempts to deny your slowdown tactics.
Workers want honest labor leaders, who are straight forward and do not keep secrets from their membership.
Do yourself and the ILWU a favor, stop keeping secrets, present PMA’s offer, explain your issues in a straight forward direct manor to the caucus, and let the rank-and-file decide what they want.
Keep clam (it’s a Seattle thing), and do your job. Please.
